In line with his commitment to effective healthcare delivery and staff welfare in Emohua LGA, Dr Chidi Lloyd had conceived and completed two different extensions of the local government primary healthcare centre situated at the council headquarters.
The two extensions are the doctor’s residential quarter and offices for healthcare workers and the cold chain facility for the storage of vaccines and other temperature-sensitive clinical materials.
Recall that Dr. Chidi Lloyd had within one year of his administration conceptualized and completed a cottage hospital as the new Emohua local government primary healthcare centre, replacing the former which was already a shadow of itself before the council chairman’s assumption of office in 2021.
The commissioning of the new Emohua local government primary healthcare centre formed part of the one-year anniversary celebration of the administration of Dr. Chidi Lloyd in 2022.
The inauguration of these extensions would form part of the activities marking the council chairman’s two-year anniversary celebration billed to be held in October 2023.
